Jay Park- Former leader of Kpop group 2pm. He left the group less than a year ago over a scandal about some derogatory statements he made about Korea on his myspace while training. While many fans actually stood behind Jay during this time and blasted the media for blowing it out of proportion and twisting the situation. Amongst the midst of the scandal Jay made the decision to quit the group and return to the U.S. (To Washington where he was born and raised. ^_^) This caused a huge discontent for the rest of the group from it’s fanbase. On February 25, 2010, JYP permanently terminated Jay’s contract siting an undisclosed incident as the reason. (this is actually has lots of parts to it that has happened in less than a year. He’s very obviously very much back. Standing his own two feet, back in Korea and this is first single since leaving 2pm.
To me his story, struggle, and choice to move forward say a lot about his character considering his age. Most people would have given up and been hopeless. Not Jay, look at him now. His fan meets have sold out in China and he continues to rise. What a good role model :) Jay HWAITING!
